Occasionally, when starting a game, my control keys fail entirely; however, they function correctly only when I press Alt in conjunction with the key. Reloading the game resolves the issue, and I’m seeking a lasting fix for this problem because I'm unsure of its origin.

You might be able to resolve the issue by examining each game’s configuration files, specifically the input.ini line and removing it. Subsequently, restart the game and reconfigure your controls. This process could generate a new .ini file and potentially alleviate the problem. Experiment with this method using a single game first to observe its effect.
