Hello, I’m attempting to play a 2007 game called Fish Fillets 2 (a fond memory from my childhood), and it’s available on Steam, so compatibility isn't a concern. However, I’m experiencing an issue with the game’s visuals; the graphics appear noticeably jagged. Furthermore, attempting to change from fullscreen to windowed mode causes the game to completely crash my entire system.

I’ve included screenshots as evidence:

* **Image 1:** While an older game naturally didn't have state-of-the-art graphics, the pixelation is excessively pronounced and differs significantly from my recollections of the game on a laptop. I’ve also attempted a laptop-based solution (details below).
* **Image 2:** The fish textures and the red backlight are heavily jagged.
* **Image 3:** More jagged edges are present, and a strange black square occasionally appears around the selected fish character.

I'm using a 144Hz refresh rate DisplayPort monitor with Adaptive Sync (Windows 10).

* Disabling Adaptive Sync seemed to improve game playability, eliminating screen tearing.
* The game runs without problems when installed on a laptop system (Windows 10).
* My monitor doesn't exhibit any visual degradation when displaying the laptop’s screen, suggesting it isn’t a monitor-related issue.

Could you attempt lowering the display settings to 640 by 480? I encounter issues with a few aged games that were originally designed for less powerful machines; when I use the control sticks, my avatar moves at an excessive rate and quickly perishes. However, when I decrease the image quality, the visuals display correctly.

I’m experiencing issues with a few older games that were originally designed for less powerful machines; pressing the directional controls causes characters to move extremely quickly and they frequently perish. However, when I decrease the resolution, the graphics display correctly.
