with AA and jagged edges, is it the resolution or ppi that removes them? people claim 4k doesn't require AA yet, as I experienced jaggies on my 55-inch TV.

PPI still counts...but it probably won't remove them entirely across everything

what is the quality of your source? if you're attempting to run an old game that doesn't support resolutions higher than 1024 or something similar, then even with the best settings it will not provide a clear picture in 4k.

Many elements influence the final result; such as how the game displays things, the resolution, and possibly your screen’s PPI, whether the game is being downscaled or upscaled, etc.
For instance, Team Fortress 2 appears significantly improved without anti-aliasing compared to Forza Horizon 4 without it.
