In short, you're trying to switch between Windows and Ubuntu on the same machine, but resetting Windows causes the PC to boot from GRUB again. It’s confusing how this works. You need advice on how to properly reset Windows without triggering the boot process.

I don’t want to delete anything because it’s different sometimes, but I’m curious about getting into the BIOS for an ASUS ROG Bios. If you have a YouTube tutorial, that would be great!

Are you aware of your motherboard's precise model? There are numerous ASUS ROG BIOS options available. They've consistently referred to these systems as ROG, with the first I encountered being the ROG Commando (LGA775 platform).

When Grub is placed on the same disk as Windows, you won't need to adjust BIOS settings for booting. During a Windows reset, choosing Grub in the prompt usually maintains functionality. If issues persist, consider setting Grub as the default operating system.
