SPECS motherboard model: MSI Z390M gaming graphics card: RTX 2060 with 16GB RAM. Storage setup: 2 HDD drives and 1 SSD (all three SATA). CPU specifications: i7-9700F. I performed a factory reset through Windows settings yesterday, choosing to retain some pre-installed applications for smoother reinstallation. The PC remained inactive for roughly two hours on a black screen until I decided to power it off. After disconnecting everything except the monitors, nothing happened. Currently, one monitor is connected to the GPU and another to the motherboard. No changes have been made since it was functioning properly before the reset, though I’m open to trying again. The system shows fan activity and lights on for the board and peripherals. Anyone have suggestions? IMG_4688.MOV
Hey there. I just completed clearing the CMOS but it didn’t work. The computer still won’t start. When I first connected the pins and turned it on, it powered off after a few seconds, then restarted but the same issue occurred—no posting and the keyboard would flash. I also re-settched almost everything I could think of on the board.
Additionally, I removed the battery from the motherboard for two minutes. The issue repeated in the same way—reboot, restart, and then the keyboard started flashing without any problems. Any further details?
Can it start without any storage devices attached and with just one RAM module installed? If your CPU includes built-in graphics, link your monitor to the motherboard's HDMI or display port.

Swap the single stick to another RAM module. Take out the GPU and test for boot loops. If it still loops, the issue might be CPU or motherboard.
