I just finished upgrading my PC completely. It comes with an Asus Z690 i-Gaming, an i7-12700K processor, 32GB RAM, a GTX 1080 Ti, three SSDs (two NVMe and one SATA), and a 1000 SFX-L sound card. Initially, when I powered it on, I faced issues—having to keep power on to boot into safe mode, then running setup and forcing a BIOS boot to Windows. Two days ago, after taking it apart outside the case without any drives connected, I discovered the problem was with my PCIe settings in BIOS. I adjusted them from 5th generation down to 3rd and everything worked fine. Now, today my PC won’t even enter BIOS. I tried a safe boot using D-LOG, F12, then went through Windows settings for UFEI, but it didn’t help. It just locked me into the Windows Lock Screen. The fans spin, keyboard and mouse light up, but there’s no display. I’m searching everywhere for solutions and hoping someone can assist.

have you tried to use the HDMI off of your mobo, if it doesn't give any output, try the gpu in the second x8 slot.

I resolved the issue by removing everything from the case once more. I reassembled it using the motherboard without a GPU, which allowed me to post. After that, I reverted the PCIe settings and realized my XMP configuration was causing the problem, so I manually adjusted it to the proper speeds.
