I’ve read many PC optimization tips, but I skipped backing up the registry before making changes. Now I need everything restored to its original state safely. If I have to fix things without risking data loss, that would be ideal.

It seems you're asking about reinstalling your OS. The best approach is to back up your registry first, as recommended by all guides.

All programs and configurations alter the registry. To begin fresh, you must reset everything and perform a full reinstall.
