Hello, I'm trying to reset my BIOS but can't clear the CMOS by removing the battery. The CMOS label is jbat1, and it looks like a solid block rather than the usual pin layout. Can I still reset it by touching it with a screwdriver? Please see the pictures you mentioned.

It's another way to reset the system—removing the battery clears the BIOS. Bypassing the pins works too, resetting without touching the battery. Just touch a metal object to the pins for 5-10 seconds while the PC is off, but only use one method at a time. Taking the battery out is easier to do, even for beginners, since figuring out which pins to short isn't straightforward.
