My Ryzen 5 laptop has 8 GB of RAM, with 2 GB already set aside for the integrated graphics. I don’t even require the built-in iGPU since I have a GTX 1650 inside. The HP BIOS lacks advanced settings and is quite simple, making it impossible to adjust the allocated RAM to the Vega 8.

HP laptops are known for their limited customization options. Based on personal experience, the main solution is increasing RAM.

It seems your device runs efficiently with its current configuration. Adding more RAM shouldn’t cause unexpected usage spikes unless there’s an underlying issue.

Thanks! Currently it seems hard to lower RAM consumption or turn off the integrated GPU since you have a dedicated one.
