Requirements for emulation are unclear!
I'm working with a unique setup—SuperNITENDO and GameCube games are mostly on one PC, which makes things simpler. You're trying to run Super Mario 64 emulation on Windows 10 but facing issues, while your Windows 7 runs Dolphin and works fine. It seems the emulator behaves differently depending on the OS version. You mentioned you have a TV that works with an older TV model on Craigslist. Should you consider searching for a compatible older TV or keep focusing on finding the right Super Mario 64 emulator for your PC? Your goal is clear, but the tech path might need some adjustments.
First things first—some formatting makes a big difference. Periods, commas, and proper grammar help. Anyway... If you own the actual game discs and have extracted the ROMs yourself using the right tools like Dolphin Emulator, ZSNES, or Project64, then these are likely the top choices for playing Gamecube/Wii, NES/SNES, and N64 on Windows. That being said, I haven’t tested them on Windows 10 yet, so I’m not sure how they compare to older versions like Windows 7. What do you mean by “every emulator acts weird” on your PC? We need more details before we can fix anything. Even then, it might be wiser to seek help from the official support forums for these emulators. And just a reminder—I can only assist with ROM files you’ve downloaded yourself from physical copies of games you actually own.
I already have ZSnes and Dolphin, I’ll go with Project 64. If it’s the right setup, that should work. But sometimes I get stuck or my save files don’t save properly, even though they do sometimes. I’ll just try Project 64 now.
i'll drop this here to ensure that we are NOT supporting illegal practices: Talking about piracy in general, broad details, is acceptable however the posting or discussing pirated/hacked/cracked or otherwise nefariously obtained content is not. This includes Windows content, games, hackintosh, etc. Also discussions regarding ways to avoid or block legitimately installed monitoring/tracking software or the like is also not allowed. chit-chat is allowed, but supporting/support info functionality is not.
