Hey there, I'm really struggling right now. I tried installing Windows on my MacBook Pro 15-inch from 2015 using Boot Camp, but the setup created a partition for Windows. However, it ended up writing empty space that couldn't be deleted, and instead of the 42GB I allocated, it took up 49.04GB. This made resizing impossible. Any advice or solutions would be super helpful!

So your macos partition is fine but the bootcamp partition is now blank? If so try use disk utility within mac to re partition your drive to a single partition for mac then retry the boot camp process
