Hey! This situation sounds quite puzzling. When you power off your PC, it seems to reset itself only when you manually add or remove a second 16GB RAM stick. After turning one in and out, the system briefly powers up, spins a few fans, then stops completely—no further action needed. RGB lights stay on, a couple fans spin, but the CPU and DRAM indicators don’t change. Only after booting again does everything resume normally. This suggests a possible issue with how your RAM is configured in BIOS. It sounds like a configuration problem rather than a hardware fault. I’ve looked up troubleshooting tips, but nothing specific for this exact scenario. If you’re open to sharing more details about your setup or any error messages, it might help find a clearer solution. Let me know!

AMD may need a bit of time to properly set up memory (about a minute). It might seem odd, but have you checked if the CPU is correctly seated? The memory controller is now built into the CPU itself, not in separate chipsets anymore. Make sure to carefully look at the socket and reinsert the processor if possible, as this could fix any memory problems.

I've been waiting up to 15 minutes without any progress, even after giving it time to "learn"... It's unclear if I made a mistake during setup, but any early training seems flawed now. I essentially disassembled the whole system and reinserted the CPU (and Microcenter also replaced the RAM), yet nothing changed.

Checking availability now. If active, attempting to proceed around it.

Have you checked if the BIOS was updated? I've encountered several problems with DDR5 boards.
