Given the need to process around 30GB of Immunofluorescence slices—especially with hardware constraints—the software likely performs better when processing images in batches rather than loading the entire image at once. Multithreading can be more effective if you can manage multiple tasks simultaneously. For such a heavy load, like 50GB of X-ray imagery, it makes sense to involve IT support or a compatible workstation from another brand, possibly with maintenance agreements through your IT provider or the workstation manufacturer.
