Please assist me with overclocking my AMD FX 8320e. My motherboard is a GA-970A-DS3P (rev. 2.0) or possibly 2.X, though the chip says rev 2.0. However, on the Gigabyte website it shows rev 2.0, so I suspect it might be 2.X.

To start, I aim to push my CPU to at least 4.2 GHz. The YouTube tutorials are too limited and differ from mine. In the CPU VCORE menu, they can set it directly to around 1.333V, whereas I can only adjust it to +50, +60, +200, etc., and I’m unsure how the NB core actually works.

Could you walk me through each step? Tell me exactly what needs to be changed or enabled. I’m sorry for being so dependent, I just lack the skills, which is why I really need your help. Thanks and best regards ☺☺

This motherboard is really bad for overclocking that chip. I wouldn't use it. How do you actually overclock? It's pretty standard—you need to check what your CPU can do since they're all different. There are no one-size-fits-all settings.

This motherboard is really bad for overclocking that chip. I wouldn't use it. It's not a common way to do this, you need to check what your CPU can handle since they all differ. There are no one-size-fits-all settings.
