Requesting two USB 3.0 ports or connectors.
There are either two or four, I haven't checked recently, so I couldn't give you an answer.
It's time to check things out. I tried connecting the card today. I also got a SATA power cable from China, which should be delayed, possibly. I connected the card to the bottom port because the video card is in the top one and the middle slot. I hadn't yet plugged in the USB cable to mention. When I powered it on, it gave me that usual beep and showed a message about overcurrent. After restarting, it stayed on the same screen. Once I unplugged the card, everything worked again. What could explain this? Maybe it needs power through the SATA port (probably) or there might be an issue with the motherboard.
The Chinese SATA power cord extension has arrived, and the card is connected to the X16 PCIe slot. External power is now connected, and the USB 3.0 cable is plugged in. The outcome shows four working USB 3.0 ports on the front of my computer. Thank you all for your suggestions—it really helped. I’m done with this discussion. *And the mic drops*
