Hey there, I'm facing the same challenge with my Windows 7 and Windows 10 systems. Both keep showing the update installation prompt even after multiple restarts. Despite updating everything from the internet, the fixes haven't worked. It's been ongoing for a while now, and I'm looking for solutions. Anyone have ideas on how to resolve this?

These devices are located with a client and are frequently utilized, which means a full reset isn't ideal.

I’ll begin by reviewing your events on each machine. Make sure you’ve cleared the Downloaded software cache. Uninstall all updates since the problem started. Run a disk cleanup as the local administrator to remove temporary files. The built-in Disk cleanup handles junk removal, but it’s more comprehensive than ccleaner. Also assess the drive health—there could be attempts to install updates on damaged sectors. Check any available documentation for specialized software. Finally, verify if there are issues with Windows updates.
