Hey there! Your current setup looks solid—Ryzen 7 3700X, RTX 3060, and a good monitor. You're exploring upgrade ideas to boost gaming performance. Since you're open to options now, here are some thoughts: if you're considering a CPU upgrade, it might not be necessary unless you're aiming for the latest benchmarks. For gaming, focusing on better graphics cards or RAM can make a noticeable difference. If you're targeting 120/144fps, checking out mid-range GPUs like the RTX 4060 or A6000 could help. Also, consider optimizing drivers and using software like MSI Afterburner for better frame rates. Let me know if you want more details on any specific path!

Try this on for size. Basically the bones of my build. Board, CPU, cooler, storage, RAM. And let me tell you, it packs a serious punch. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/An0maly197...iew=zcq8Q7

They're planning next-generation CPUs and motherboards soon, so it makes sense to wait for those releases. You might want to stick with a top-tier CPU instead of getting a board that won't fit future upgrades (AM4 is no longer supported). Intel will probably launch new products shortly after.

Uncertain if an AM4 CPU or Mobo upgrade significantly improves the gaming experience at 1440p. Consider switching the GPU to a model like the 3080 or hold off until the Ryzen 7000 series arrives.
