Hi Everyone, I'm using an older PC with an LG/MicroStar MS-7619 motherboard from 2009 and a Core i3 550. It seems to be an OEM build. I was thinking about upgrading the CPU, aiming for something like an Intel Xeon X3470, and possibly pairing it with a NVIDIA GT 1030 or an AMD RX 560 for light gaming and office work. I'm curious if the X3470 works well with this board. I haven't found any updated compatibility lists, and I was hoping I could avoid replacing the motherboard altogether. Thanks for your assistance!

That's what I expected too. Right now I'm still searching for server boards, but there aren't many options available. Some were available, though the reviews weren't very positive. If I can't find any, I'll go ahead and build a new one. Your advice was really helpful!

Quick update: I discovered a listing mentioning a P55 board but written in Korean; the title still makes sense. So far, the top option for CPU performance is either an X3470 or an I7-870, offering about 70% of the X3470's price. Buying a H55m-E33 board plus the CPU would cost more than double. I’m leaning toward taking the risk for the X3470. Also found something similar to what I’m seeing.
