Hello, AMD has provided a 7950x3d to swap in for your broken 7800x3d. You're mainly using the PC for gaming, so it's worth considering this deal. It's been about a month since you started waiting, and it comes with a 7800xt.

Take it. Either appreciate the additional cores, or if you wish to revert it back to a 7800X3D, you can disable the second CCD.

Back then you could silence particular components in BIOS. There could be a superior configuration than that to simply turn off the group. Perhaps Ryzen Master works better.

7950X3D is nearly identical to 7800X3D in games, except for a few exceptions—use Process Lasso, and it performs significantly better elsewhere. In the worst scenario, you might only find one available.
