Hello. My new PC isn't responding. - Cables inspected - IO-shield buttons illuminated after using them, BIOS updated - PSU fan activated with paperclip method. - Tried booting without GPU, nothing happened - Replaced RAM and tried single stick. Initially assumed the memory was bad, returned it but the problem continues. What might be causing this? - Specs: PSU Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 13 - 1300W; Motherboard MSI MPG X670E; Carbon WiFi CPU; Flare X5 RAM DDR5-6000; 2x C30 M.2 SSD (Samsung 990 Pro, 2TB); 2280 PCIe M.2 slot.
Ensure all power connectors are securely placed. Verify the CPU 4-6 pin and motherboard 24-pin have clicked into their slots. Observe the motherboard indicators on the right side of the RAM slots—they help diagnose issues by lighting up when needed. Confirm each component is properly labeled. Test the power switch by briefly connecting the power button pins with a screwdriver; this may reveal a faulty button. Reinstall the CPU using the correct AM5 procedure. Inspect the CMOS battery for any changes in behavior when pressing the power button (e.g., fan activity, lighting).
