Report problems following the motherboard swap
I recently changed my case, motherboard, and power supply for my 1.5-year-old HP OEM system to get ready for a future GPU swap. After assembling everything and updating the BIOS with the second CPU, I reinstalled the main CPU, but there was no post and no boot debug indicator after the VGA light. The processor functions on the old motherboard, yet not here. I've already tested two different BIOS versions twice, both failed. I removed the CMOS both times I tried again with the same update, and I've excluded other parts since they worked with the second CPU and the original CPU. The only possibility I considered is an OEM-only CPU, though I'm not familiar with any other brands beyond Lenovo desktops. Main CPU: Intel i5-13400F Second CPU: Intel Celeron G6900 Biostar B660GTN (B66AYA23/B66AY620, latest and second latest) 2x16GB Crucial CT16G4DFRA32A RAM (3200MT/S, CL22) HP RTX 3060(stock) MSI MAG A650BN (650W 80+ Bronze) Windows 11 Pro
