Hey, I just upgraded from a 5700XT to a 7900XT, increased the PSU wattage from 650w to 1200w, and added two more DDR4 RAM sticks. I’m still facing a lot of stuttering and lag in games. After switching to Windows 11, Smart Access Memory wasn’t enabled, so I turned it on. That fixed some issues, bringing frequencies down to 3200, which helped about 80%. However, stutters persist. The 3DMark stress test came back with a score of 83.1% (FAIL). Here are the screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/tQVvnbf and the link to the test.

I’ve tried:
- Cleaning DDU uninstall
- Installing the latest Adrenaline drivers (24.1.1)
- Enabling SAM
- Using separate power cables for each PCIe slot connected to the PSU

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’m considering returning the card since I’m unsure how to proceed.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
You have 2 more BIOS versions pending an update, update to the latest version. Got a link to the rams you're using? If they are Corsair sticks of ram/kits, you should look into the PCB's revision number on both kits.

For anyone encountering this in the future, I resolved the problem.
My card overheated because it was placed in the bottom slot of my case, limiting airflow and causing thermal throttling. I adjusted the fan curve from 45 to 60, which improved performance significantly. Temperatures dropped from 85-90°C to 65°C, and I successfully passed the stress test at 99.2%.
