I own a Razer Stealth 13 laptop (link provided) and have experienced mostly stable performance over the past couple of years. Recently, however, it has stopped running any games I play. Whether it's League, Noita, or TFT, the frame rate has dropped to single digits. Even when I lowered graphics settings to the minimum, the performance remained unchanged. It's also using minimal CPU, RAM, and GPU resources while running games, and the machine doesn't get very hot. I have pictures/videos of the issue but am unsure how to share them. I've tried reinstalling graphics cards, updating games, and setting the power plan to high performance, but nothing has worked. Any advice would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! Have you checked for any pending BIOS updates on your laptop? Also, verify if your operating system is awaiting updates. Have you attempted to remove your current GPU drovers using DDU before reinstalling the latest GPU drivers from Nvidia's support site?

I experienced a precise issue. During stress tests, CPU utilization fell to 50% after just a few minutes of operation (before everything was functioning normally).
I explored all possible solutions, suspecting an overheating or thermal throttling issue linked to the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework, which seemed to reduce CPU usage significantly. A fresh Windows installation didn’t resolve the problem.
I changed the thermal paste, adjusted power settings to high performance (maximum CPU usage), and even downgraded the driver, but nothing improved.
The only fix came when I unparked the cores (uncertain if sharing links or program names is allowed). Once done, temperatures stabilized, and the laptop operated normally without overheating or performance drops.
I’m not sure why this worked, but it resolved the issue completely.
