Report about Destiny 2 crashing following a problematic shutdown on a computer.
Hi! I’ve had some problems with my PC lately. It’s been working well for a few months now, so this isn’t usual. Yesterday I was away and the PC was powered on. Because power had to be cut off for repairs at home, and someone else turned it off, when I came back it showed an American Megatrends screen (though I don’t have pictures, but it looked like the PC shut down incorrectly) and took me to my BIOS. Everything seemed normal there, so I saved and restarted the system. Now, however, Destiny 2 won’t run because the game keeps crashing and closing, which hasn’t happened before.
I’ve tried restarting the computer, updated the Nvidia drivers, set the game to high priority in Task Manager, and even reinstalled it on a different SSD, but nothing has fixed the issue.
What should I do?
