Windows 10 is quite flexible and can manage major platform transitions, though doing so isn't advised as it may lead to driver issues. When switching between the same hardware brand—like Intel to Intel or AMD to AMD—it typically functions smoothly.

Windows 10 works well for me, I easily transfer an HDD from an Intel laptop to an AMD PC without problems. It handles the situation on its own.

I just changed the motherboard, processor (switched from AMD to another AMD model), and RAM, and Windows 11 started perfectly. Still, if possible, make sure to save what you need.
