Hello, I just upgraded my graphics card but noticed the monitor shows the login screen on startup and then turns off. It sometimes works but not often. When I switched back to the previous GPU, it didn’t happen, so I assumed the new one was faulty. I returned it and got a replacement ASUS 3050 card, but the issue persists with the new one. My PSU is an EVGA GT 650, which I believe provides sufficient power for the GPU. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The drivers might be outdated. Look at the GeForce Experience app to determine if an update is necessary.

Unfortunately, I didn't include a note about removing the old drivers using DDU and adding the fresh ones.

I cleared my drivers and after my first try with the 3050, I reinstalled the newest ones and managed to restart the system for about three hours. Now, during launch it happens again. It didn’t occur with my 280 GPU and functioned properly for a short time with the 3050.

Have you explored a fresh certified quality display cable? Does Windows plus Power perform any actions when the screen goes black?
