I recently upgraded to the be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4, and despite having good temperatures, my computer’s performance has dropped. I first noticed this during a Cinebench R20 run, where my score fell by about 100-150 points. I’ve also started playing Ori and the Will of the Wisps lately, and there are now frequent frame drops, with me struggling to maintain 180 fps—previously it was consistently above 225. I’m wondering if I might have made an error on my motherboard or GPU, but just wanted to check this before taking any further steps.

I swapped in a Deepcool - GAMMAXX 300 R and applied the thermal compound provided with the Pro 4.

Also, another weird thing that has been happening is one of my ssds will be surprised removed. Doesn't happen during anything specific, it will just randomly disconnect.

It could be the problem behind the slowdown, though pinpointing it has been challenging so far.
