Replaced the CPU, but temperatures are fluctuating and fan speed isn't stable.
Hello, Your Ryzen 5 3600 with its original cooler seems to be behaving oddly now. After replacing the CPU, you experienced BSODs earlier, which turned out to be a faulty chip. The shop replaced it, and everything worked fine until recently. Today, while downloading a game from Epic Store, you noticed unusual spikes in both CPU temperatures and fan speeds. The temps jump from 60 to 70°C, then drop back to 60 and quickly rise again to 70°C. The fan speed changes in sync with these temperature spikes. It seems normal for this pattern, but it’s strange since it didn’t happen before the CPU change. Have you tried checking the cooler connection or airflow?
It tends to run hot at around 70-80°C. I haven't adjusted any settings in the BIOS, but it's possible they made changes. I'm planning to restore everything to the original configuration, which might affect the fan curve.
The claimed idle condition is misleading since several background tasks are active, needing one or two cores to function. This explains the temperature increases.
