Hello everyone, I’m facing recurring crashes while gaming. Despite following all the advice online, the issue persists. I’m experiencing frequent freezes and crashes to the desktop, with only occasional BSODs. When these happen, Windows Event Viewer displays an error: Event ID 0 from nvlddmkm. The description isn’t recognized, suggesting the component causing this might not be installed or the installation is damaged. You can try reinstalling or repairing that component locally. If the event came from another machine, ensure the display details were saved with it. Here’s what I’ve tried so far: cleaning Nvidia drivers via DDU, reinstalling drivers, restarting Windows, enabling performance mode in GeForce settings, and using Resizeable Bar in BIOS. The CPU, RAM, and GPU are functioning normally without crashes. Any guidance would be invaluable. Thanks!

Begin by accessing BIOS settings and turning off Armoury Crate. Disable XMP so RAM operates at default speeds temporarily. If any overclocking is active, switch it off and enable PBO instead. After a reboot into Windows, use the Armoury Crate Uninstall Tool from the provided link. Once back in Windows, install the B550 chipset drivers from the AMD site and ensure Fast Boot is enabled. Verify the driver version is stable; if not, reinstall the GPU drivers. In Safe Mode, open DDU, adjust settings to block Windows Update during driver downloads, then clean and restart. Finally, reinstall the Nvidia drivers from the official site.

I'm confirming the compatibility of the B550 chipset drivers with your B550M Plus motherboard.

Visit C:\Windows\Minidump to see if any minidump files exist. If present, return to the Windows directory and transfer the entire Minidump folder to the Downloads folder (use your desktop if needed). Compress the copied folder and include it in a post. Please adhere strictly to instructions since Windows doesn't allow file manipulation there.
