I got frustrated and attempted to upgrade an old machine, set up Windows Ten, and connect it to a fresh display. I reviewed some YouTube tutorials and it functioned briefly—just a few seconds—before the cooling fan kicked in and the motherboard lights went out.

I don’t remember many details, it’s quite an old machine, but I can tell you it has an i5 CPU, two RAM sticks, around 4 to 8 gigabytes each. To improve it, I removed the case and keyboard, cleaned everything up, reassembled it, and connected it to a fresh screen (which was pretty dusty), a new keyboard, a fresh mouse, and a brand-new hard drive. I also planned to install Windows 10 on it.

I can give it another shot, though this wire has been reliable for a long time. For an older computer, I suggest checking a compatible USB hub or a legacy power adapter.

I noticed you forgot to include your message. Could you share what you meant? I was discussing testing with another PSU to ensure reliability, mentioning that my EVGA and Corsair units were older models. Let me know how I can help!
