I was attempting to remove the Windows 10 photo viewer and ended up taking it out of both versions. I’m having trouble locating a redownload option on Microsoft’s site, so I’m currently stuck viewing every image in MSPaint. Can anyone assist in restoring the old Windows photo viewer? If not, is there a way to reinstall the Windows 10 photos app?

It's uncertain if it will work, but it's worth a shot.

Even after updating the registry, it still isn't visible in the dropdown.

Perhaps it would be better to look for some external software first, honestly.

You can locate the store by checking its official website or using a map service to find its nearest location.

Click the blue button on the Photos app, then the Store app will launch so you can download it.

I removed the store app but still used a good third-party viewer. That’s okay for now, thank you!
