Removed RAM during sleep state of the computer.
I was in a hurry and removed my RAM sticks while the PC was asleep (smart decision). They were already bad, and the replacement is coming soon, so I can't fix anything right now. Did I accidentally harm any components on the motherboard or elsewhere? The software problem isn’t there since it’s a newer machine and I can easily replace what was lost. Thanks a lot.
It's hard to confirm without real testing. But it's probably true since data gets saved in RAM while sleeping, so the memory would be active.
I've used it numerous times with Windows' shutdown option. It hasn't done much for me, honestly.
