Hi, your question is clear. You’re using Windows 7 Home Premium on your Mac and have activated it with a code from a computer store. Whether you need to uninstall Windows on your Mac depends on how the activation was set up—some systems require removal before installation, while others work directly. Check the activation details or contact support for confirmation.

It won't trigger your old PC unless you enable it through a phone connection.

They received it because you provided it. You could have waited for delivery and set it up yourself. Unless it wasn’t communicating with activation servers, you’re all set.

When you turn on the new device, your key will activate. You need to call Microsoft and provide your 20 plus DigiD code. They’ll send you a new one for the box!

Just set it up on your other PC. It will turn off on your Mac—no need to contact Microsoft if that doesn’t work. If that fails, just reach out to them like you normally would. MS: alright, give us the old version so we can verify you purchased it.

Once it's turned on on a new device, the previous one should stop working automatically and become inaccessible.

not straight away because of the way that MS keys work. its a anti piracy feature. they never just 'deactivate and activate'

I've completed this task over four times in an hour using a PC to PC. I'm confident it functions properly...

After calling them and handling the code part, I’ve completed it multiple times before—on Windows 7, 8, and 8.1. The process works reliably for me and my friends/family.
