HI, my little brother thought it was a good idea to download MacKeeper while I was at school. UGH! I’ve tried to clear out all the files from the computer and quarantine everything, removing all the add-ons and virus threats. Anyway, checking the Activity Monitor showed all processes were normal until I dug deeper and found something called "MacKeeper ADt." It’s the last trace of this program, and I want it gone. I tried to force quit it through the Activity Monitor, but it keeps appearing (just like other processes until I deleted their files). I’m wondering if anyone knows how to remove this program and what it does. Since it’s a single process using almost no CPU and just a few MB of RAM, it probably isn’t doing anything harmful, but I want to be safe. Thanks for any help!

The standard malwarebytes or perhaps a stronger option comes into play here (the top anti-virus choice still stands, though it consumes about a third of your PC's resources).
