Occasionally my apps change color to orange, even after opening them and removing all alerts, they stay orange until the task is terminated.

Suggest stopping the task and reducing it by tapping the taskbar icon and attempting

You should cancel the task immediately to remove it, then reduce its size by tapping the icon instead of the minus sign, and verify whether the notification behaves the same.

Occasionally it occurs, sometimes it returns right away, other times it takes hours or even days later.
