Would it be feasible to remove certain folders and subfolders that show up automatically in the Windows 10 Media Player catalog, such as "Pictures, Playlists, Rating, Recorded TV, Series, etc."? I aim to avoid using them when connecting to the Smart TV, Air Video player or VLC Player. To clarify, I would like just three folders—"Movies, TV Shows, Temporary"—and have all the others eliminated. For me, this would make everything unnecessary. Is this achievable?

Do they represent real folders or merely metadata columns?

Alright. No folders.
Nothing to delete.
Just set them to 'not appear'.

What tool do you employ to examine this information along with its related metadata?
If the default Windows File Explorer is in use, you can choose to omit any columns you prefer.

They aren't visible in the file explorer. They appear on our Samsung Smart TV, iPad with Air Video, and iPhone with VLC.

I would anticipate needing to examine each application individually and remove the problematic columns. Or, simply skip them.
