Hello,
I’m trying to configure my PC with an SSD for Windows and two HDDs using software Raid 1. I want to run the two HDDs separately while keeping all data on one drive so I can use the other for new files. The problem is I’m unsure how to disable the Raid setup—it isn’t listed in Disk Management and doesn’t show up as a storage space with a “remove” option.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

There's no way to break 2 way mirror with storage spaces.

Get a new drive.
Move all data to it.
Delete storage pool and release drives from it.
