I appreciate the update; though I anticipate this will require several years, possibly due to future shutdowns from internal issues. I haven't placed too much faith in this outcome, having seen many similar projects fail quickly.

Knights of the Old Republic stands out as one of my top favorites ever. Of course, with any unofficial fan initiative there are always chances it might be taken down or left incomplete. That’s why I’ll balance my excitement with a bit of practicality right now.
Generally not very excited, most of these titles rarely make it to release... I’m more hopeful about an official remake of KoToR, especially since last year’s update for KoToR 2 was quite surprising for such an old game. I’m looking forward to seeing something at E3 this year—maybe a KoToR remake or even KoToR 3.
