Purchased this kit from a person on Facebook, they claimed the CPU was faulty, so I replaced it with a new one. It behaves exactly like when the “broken” CPU was present. My question is: what’s the issue here? I’ve swapped out the RAM, CPU, power supply, and even the PSU. What’s left to check is the motherboard?
It's likely the seller didn't know the exact issue, possibly assumed it and sold it anyway. The motherboard seems to be damaged.
I thought it wouldn’t cost much, but I ended up buying it for the mobile now. I have two 1151-core i5 processors and they’re not really useful at home.
