I see. You might as well give it a try, if you have a spare USB. Edit: just edited my previous post

I created another profile on Windows. I want to see what occurs and examine the outcomes. Also, I’ll investigate the USB tool. I need to close this browser. Thanks everyone for your feedback. I’ll return later with an update.

There are various registry locations. HKEY_CURRENT_USER applies to each personal profile on the machine. But if it belongs to a system-wide hive, things go wrong. Unless you have a restored backup of a stable version, you may need to reinstall the operating system. The reason the hive database became corrupted often stems from a poor shutdown, drive issues, or RAM errors during incorrect updates. The latter can be particularly sneaky! It's strongly advised to assess your drive's condition and perform a memory test to ensure hardware is operating correctly.

A fresh desktop isn't working properly. Most of the results from the search I ran were already completed or didn’t work. It looks like I made a mistake while trying to install the USB tool, which prevented it from loading. Then I did a memory test—it stopped after 10,000 errors and flagged too many issues. I’m frustrated because I have to start over by formatting my C drive. Recently, my system has had several bad shutdowns. The 4080 chip melted the adapter into the power port, so I’ve been using the IGPU instead. It would crash multiple times in a row, sometimes restarting on its own or freezing, which forces me to press the power button. Things seem a bit better now, but games still crash regularly. When I removed the card for repair, I used a DDU and installed new drivers, but it never worked correctly. Could you confirm those memory test errors don’t indicate that my physical RAM is failing?
