I help with tech projects and refurbishing tasks. I found a Mac Mini Core Solo and wanted to upgrade to macOS Snow Leopard. I added extra RAM and installed a 320GB drive. Now I need to create a bootable USB with OSX 10.4, but I don’t have a retail disk or another Mac ready for the job. The Mini has a 60GB drive already, and I’m not sure how to prepare it for the installation. Any advice would be appreciated.

Use PowerISO on a Windows PC to convert the .dmg file into a DVD. You might need a dual-layer DVD, but I'm not entirely confident about that.

We hit our snag, but if we don’t solve it now, I can jump straight into work and use one of those Snow Leopard retail disks. No big deal, just you know... It’d be great if it works tonight.

Need to wait until the scheduled day to obtain the SL disks. Any ideas on how to complete this before then would be really helpful.
