Hi, I'm checking the best way to update the BIOS for the Mobo. Should I upgrade to the latest version or just go up through F11 to F33i? Also, I'm not sure if I need to use the built-in BIOS tools or another software from Gigabyte. The board has dual BIOS options which is helpful—previously it almost broke me once. Let me know if you need more clarity! Thanks in advance!

The BIOS notes on the download page don’t mention any warnings about needing an intermediate or bridge BIOS, suggesting it should be safe. I lack direct experience with this specific motherboard.

utilized gigabytes proprietary program for an upgrade to F30; believed a subsequent update might be necessary, but currently everything is current. Resizing support indicates functionality is operational.

Dear Zohan2000,
Avoid using software from another brand for BIOS updates. Take your time, organize your notes carefully, and prepare thoroughly—especially when working with motherboards. You might still have a chance if you try the following steps:

- Use only the specified USB cable (preferably empty, formatted as FAT32 or 16).
- Connect only the required PSU cables: two ATX_12Vs and the ATX 24 pin cable (refer to page 7 of the manual).
- Do not install the processor or RAM on the motherboard.

Referenced MSI's tools for updating the Gigabyte motherboard, mentioning a prior setup with an MSI board.
