Hey, do you know any way to manually update the firmware on your Huawei B535 4G router? I had it stuck after an az update—WebUI said an update was possible, but after an hour it wouldn’t load and kept showing up as loading. After another hour I reset it by hand. Now it starts up but the usual WebUI address isn’t working and 4G is also gone. Have anyone dealt with this issue before? Unlike the older B525, this model lacks a USB port and only has RJ45 connections. Thanks in advance for your help!

Is the B535 assigned a LAN IP to connected devices? Which network range and gateway are used? The firmware update could have altered the webUI's IP address. Avoid updating firmware over a wireless link to the router or modem—use a wired connection instead. This reduces risks of disconnection, data loss, and failed flashing. If you received this device via a mobile ISP, consider asking them to replace it for you.

I haven’t verified that yet; I’ll handle it later. The tool can provide the correct IP address? No, it wasn’t reliable. I got it second-hand from a hardware store and tried a local Huawei repair shop, but they refused to fix it and suggested another router.
