It's only been a few hours, but what are your thoughts? Personally, I think it's fine. I’d like to see a UI scale so things don’t look cramped together. Disliking the bots that can’t be turned off is a big issue for me. The AR effects need more strength, and repeatedly unlocking every gun three times feels tiresome. There seems to be no mastery camos either. Overall, it’s a decent game but I expect to grow bored quickly. As someone who isn’t very skilled with portals, I’m unsure. The novelty tends to fade fast.
It seems like the experience is quite similar to a mobile game. They should consider revising some aspects.
I noticed they just added a battle royale feature—maybe it could be more engaging. Personally, I’d prefer games with deeper mechanics or fresh experiences, such as The Finals. I get that SG2 is still in early access, so who knows if things will improve. I also think the visual design feels off, even though I can’t quite place why; it seems like much of the game might be built using a standard Unreal Engine template.
It's okay. The game's mechanics improve significantly when matched against a balanced team, and the portals bring a lot of excitement to Splitball, making it the top mode. My main issue right now is that heroes and classes look almost identical, even though each has unique perks and weapons that affect combat dynamics. I can't share their names or appearances until I launch the game. While I'm upset, the tutorial doesn't clearly explain objectives, which is a concern. Still, I'm optimistic given the positive feedback it's received.
