Hi everyone, I'm running my main home server under Windows Pro with mirrored storage—4x6GB and 3x4GB. I'm curious if anyone has advice on REFS and dual parity options, which aren't included in the standard Pro 10 license. A) Should I go through the effort of switching to REFS or dual parity? B) Can I set up the same storage on a 2016 server and then move it back to a Windows Pro machine for regular use? I know some software might behave differently depending on the OS. Thanks!

it's unlikely refs will significantly impact performance, and parity tends to be slow. Usually you can implement features on the server, and Windows 10 should function properly. They offer a version of Windows 10 designed for workstations if you need both refs and Windows 10.
