G-Sync can affect game performance, making movements feel slower. You previously used 1200 DPI and could adjust it in the app. It’s normal for G-Sync to slightly reduce mouse speed during games. You might want to lower the DPI a bit to match the experience without G-Sync. If you play at 1200 DPI normally, the equivalent DPI setting in the app should be similar to what you used before.
GSync functions similarly to VSync by limiting frames per second to match the monitor’s refresh rate. GSync (and freesync, also known as variable refresh rate) avoids screen tearing when FPS falls below the monitor’s maximum refresh capability. It achieves this by adjusting the monitor’s refresh rate to align with the desired FPS. Unless there are compatibility problems, GSync won’t cause your game to feel slower, aside from any technical limitations.
