I adjusted the processor maximum to 99% instead of 100%. This caused my 5800x to operate at 3.725 ghz rather than the usual 4.5-4.8 during gaming. It appears this resolved the problem where my GPU power would drop and my FPS would decrease. Why did that happen? I observed frame drops sometimes even when using 99% processor state, and my core clock would also reduce, though the GPU power stayed the same. The specs listed are from the new drivers and hardware setup.

It looks like your PSU might be failing. If the CPU power drops and the GPU returns to normal, it’s probably a failing power supply unit.

I also adjusted the CPU ratio to 4.2 in BIOS, and it continues to function properly without any GPU performance issues.
