New visual update looks smoother and more attractive than the previous 2033 version, plus additional game modes are available. The discount of 50% applies if you own it.

These titles appear excellent, yet 2033 shows major optimization issues. Redux remains unchanged in this regard.

To earn some cash, I’d recommend taking the 2033 build. Last Light should feel a lot like the standard PC release, though I still find it questionable to pay for updates.

Metro Redux brings back the 2033 metro experience using the Last Light engine. It sounds great, though it's more suited for next-generation systems rather than PCs. Still, it's enjoyable and well-made.

It's merely a more appealing version of the game, according to what I understand.

It's accurate that Last Light receives only a small update, yet 2033 was fully reworked in the latest engine version. If you believe a free 2033 remaster in a new engine would be misleading, you're right.

It's accurate about LL, and I believe it's misleading to pay for LL Redux just to unlock extra difficulty levels. I think LL Redux should be a free update for all LL owners on Steam, and I plan to purchase the 2033 version.
