Checking AMD 5950x with GeForce RTX 3080 Ti offers performance benefits. Your BIOS settings are optimized, and upgrading to DDR4 3600 can improve stability and speed. Planning a deep clean sounds smart—good idea for a tidy system!

What is your use case for your computer. For an average everyday user/gamer there is no reason for that much ram, however depending on if you do some more specialized tasks maybe you need it?

The goal is to reduce memory usage so the remaining resources operate more efficiently. Otherwise, you're essentially limiting yourself to only half the available capacity.

It looks like you're unsure about the main objective here. The focus will mostly be on maximizing memory capacity. Having fewer DIMMs might actually be better, though it could also be unnecessary. More RAM doesn't necessarily mean more benefit, especially if it's not being used often. If it's rarely accessed, there may not be any drawbacks. It seems you're probably trying to resolve an issue that isn't present. It might be wiser to leave it alone.

It's a Thermaltake case designed for liquid cooling, customized for fan use. That's what I'm asking about. Does having less RAM reduce the strain? I only do overclocking on my GPU since I've noticed CPU tweaks often cause issues and don't match others' outcomes. My top Cinnebench score was around 32,000 multiplier and 1,630 single-core.

It seems unclear about the final objective. Probably the concern is whether 128GB causes excessive stress, affecting performance. It’s similar to wanting a 5000-watt amp without needing it—just having extra capacity can be helpful.

Running all four dimmers at 3600 proves you've overcome the stress, and your IMC or board is ready for it. No changes needed.

CPU OC and memory OC are distinct concepts, even though increased memory OC might limit your CPU performance. Keeping memory unchanged maintains the current CPU state.
