For the upcoming holidays, I managed to accumulate sufficient funds to assemble a fresh computer and procured excellent components. However, I'm currently facing difficulties achieving satisfactory frame rates on games that should perform smoothly. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I’m relatively inexperienced and uncertain whether my build is accurate or if I inadvertently made an error.

Specifications:
AMD Ryzen 5 1500
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (Founders Edition)
16GB DDR4 at 2400MHz
450W PSU, 80+ Bronze certified
Asus B350F Gaming Motherboard
Western Digital Blue 2TB Hard Drive
250GB Solid State Drive

AMD Ryzen processors perform best when combined with fast RAM – aiming for speeds exceeding 3000MHz. However, you should still experience satisfactory frame rates regardless. Monitor your system’s performance by installing MSI Afterburner and observing the temperature levels and workload of both your CPU and graphics card during gameplay.

Could you please tell me your frames per second? Also, which games are you playing and at what display resolution?
